Visit the Overholser Mansion
The Overholser Mansion will be closed on Friday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.
Wednesday through Saturday, tours are available at 10 a.m., noon, and 2 p.m., and reservations are required. Please visit overholsermansion.org/tours to make a reservation. Tours are self-guided with an introduction from the museum director, and parking is available on Northwest 15th Street in front of the mansion.
Visitors get an up-close and personal look at several rooms, including the dining room, butler’s pantry, and kitchen. On the second floor, guests can walk through all bedrooms, as well as the two bathrooms. Signage is in place throughout the home, and historic photos illustrate what the rooms looked like in decades past. Carpet runners are in place to protect the more than 100-year-old carpet. Preservation Oklahoma enhanced the tour experience thanks to funding from the Oklahoma Historical Society’s Oklahoma Heritage Preservation Grant Program.
